Congressman Alcee L. Hastings of the US Congress wrote a letter to Mr. Fujisue Kenzo (藤末健三) of the House of Councilors in the National Diet of Japan in support for the International Agreement to Prohibit the Eating of Dogs and Cats. He will lead alongside Mr. Fujisue and WDA in the fight to end dog and cat meat.
