Chinese New Year Message

Dragon soars, tiger leaps; dogs rejoice, cats cheer!

On January 9th, Korea legislated a ban on the consumption of dog meat, saving the lives of 5 million dogs consumed by humans per year.

Korea’s First Lady, Kim Keon-hee, deserves a lot of credit for this legislation. She and Genlin, founder of the World Dog Alliance, have been nominated by politicians around the world for the Nobel Peace Prize.

We eagerly await the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate in October 2024, and look forward to the realization of the International Agreement to Prohibit the Eating of Dogs and Cats.

To celebrate the historic moment of Korea’s successful legislation, the WDA placed two gigantic advertisements in the heart of Times Square, New York, outside the Nasdaq Stock Exchange building.
