WDA’s Arendalsuka Event

The World Dog Alliance (WDA) is going to participate into Norway’s Arendalsuka this summer.

WDA’s event will be held in Arendal Municipal Hall, at 12:30 pm on 16 August 2023 (Wed). It aims to promote the International Agreement to Prohibit the Eating of Dogs and Cats in Norway. Its founder, Genlin, will also exhibit his oil paintings on dog meat consumption to reveal the cruelty of this barbaric practice. WDA is honoured to have invited Mr. Jeff Denham and Mr. Rodney Davis, the two former US Congressmen who made dog and cat meat consumption illegal in the US, to join the event and share their successful experience with Norwegian lawmakers.

Arendalsuka is the largest political gathering in the country held annually since 2012. The event’s mission is clear: strengthen the belief in political empowerment and democracy through open debate and involvement.

Arendalsuka is the result of co-creation between national and local political parties, NGO’s, universities, research institutions, private companies and the Municipality of Arendal.

Arendalsuka takes place every year in mid-August. For 5 days, the city of Arendal is filled with an interesting and educational variety of exhibitions and events.
