[Hong Kong Spotlight] WDA Brings a Breeze to Animal Shelter

Summer is nearby! Temperature in urban areas stays above 30°C most days, and even 3 to 4°C higher in the suburbs. The World Dog Alliance (WDA) has been following the situation at the animal shelter “Home of Cats and Dogs” in Ping Che, one of the hottest areas in Hong Kong. To help the dogs and cats cool down, Genlin, founder of the WDA, donated 4 giant fans to the shelter.

Given the massive area of the shelter, Genlin decided to take a step further: he sent a professional team to the shelter to improve its electricity supply, install some extra fans, and put sunshade clothes in the outdoor area to avoid the animals getting heat stroke when roaming around.

May the cats and dogs at the shelter have a cool and comfortable summer!
