It has been one year since we lost Congressman Alcee Hastings on April 6, 2021, but his animal-loving spirit lives on in the work of the World Dog Alliance (WDA).
To carry on his unfinished work, his hopes, his dreams to end the dog and cat meat trade globally, 38 members of the US Congress continue to advocate for the initiation of the International Agreement to Prohibit the Eating of Dogs and Cats.
