Anyways, if you can name 60 breeds at once, you deserve an A grade score, which is impressive. For the record, 60 breeds are not many when you look at the number of registered breeds in FCI, which has classified 344 dog breeds worldwide, and the figure is still growing.

Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) was founded on May 22nd 1911 over a hundred years ago. It is the largest dog lovers group in the world. The group only accepts a maximum of one group from each country as representative. Currently, there are 75 full members, 12 associate members and 7 contract partners. The FCI homepage clearly shows their wish to put an end to Yulin Dog Meat Festival.

The FCI homepage expresses every dog lover’s wish to put an end to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival.

FCI is devoted to worldwide canine classification to systemize a set of standards of raising different dog breeds. The standards serve as a guide for owners trying to provide the best living conditions for their dogs. FCI’s another mission is to assign a member to host World Dog Show every year. Visitors have the opportunity to look at dog breeds born in different nations. The last show was held in Amsterdam, Netherland in August 2018; the upcoming one will be held in Shanghai in May 2019.

A dog lover may be fond of either a particular dog breed or equally all dogs, but the fact is every life is unique and precious. Treat every dog you meet in your life well.
